Main activities
The focus of WG3 was the comparison and evaluation of different methods, for better representations, reduction of the dimension of the feature space and multimodal feature fusion. WG3 dealt with two working areas:

• Reducing the dimensions of features using PCA or similar approaches for improving their representational and classificational power.
• Fusion at feature level, especially for multimodal descriptors in order to better infer semantic information
